According to EU regulations, every single driving time has to be completely documented - preferably on the driver’s card. If this is not possible, then drivers must carry with them a confirmation letter of the company (in EU format) made over the last 28 days during the trip.

The calculation of the times is made by specified parameters, which are defined in the EU Regulation - independently of the digital tachograph manufacturer.
